About the project

Building on a foundation of proven quality and the trust of both consumers and celebrities, M*Lab, a Vietnamese cosmetics brand, launched a comprehensive rebranding initiative. This project, which included new branding and packaging design for their masks, was crafted to better showcase the brand’s unique identity. The new design system is a direct visual expression of their core values, masterfully uniting the power of scientific advancement with the gentle, rooted safety of nature.

Delving into the soft power of nature, we discover the delicate, distinct cells of its pistils and leaves. Inspired by the eternal beauty of blooming, M*Lab’s packaging identity is composed of organic dots in countless unique forms, accompanied by a motion of expansion and efflorescence. This design, with its colour palette and natural dot motifs, provides a flexible foundation for the brand’s future growth. The logo, crafted from the Right Grotesk typeface, features a striking stylised asterisk, symbolising the innovative process of transforming nature into product through new technology.
